This is great news. It's so funny to see everyone that supported GWB's wire-tapping get up in arms over regulating the tobacco industry. Apparently warning labels and health issues aren't enough for intelligent people to actually quit smoking. But the tobacco companies go out of their way to make tobacco as addicting as possible. Not quite fair. So it's time to regulate them as much as possible. Especially since the increased health risks add to the cost of everyone's health insurance. It's only right to go to the source.
I've noticed too that the main people on the forums all hot and bothered about this, are either smokers or are married to one. There is no defense for smoking, but they can attack those that don't. And if the House chooses to pass regulations, I would think that all of us non-smokers should stand up and cheer. Smokers should pay out the nose for cigarettes. Let that money go for their oxygen tanks when the lungs give out.
